Dr Tariq Banuri is Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute's Future Sustainability Program. His work focuses on development policy and the integration of environmental, social, and economic dimensions into policy frameworks. Dr Banuri also serves as a founding member of the Great Transition Initiative (GTI), as an Executive Committee member of the World Future Council, on the board of governors of Pakistan's central bank and as a former lead author for the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
